A small amount about Michael's background.

Michael was born and raised in Whitstable, Kent. At the age of ten he started learning the piano and attending LAMDA classes after school where his interest in performing began. 

   He also trained with Theatre Train and the local theatre school Phoenix Performing Arts where he played Thenadier in the school edition of Les Miserables at the Gulbenkian in Canterbury. 

   In 2006 he attended The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Clapham, London Earning himself a BA Honours Degree in Acting.

   After graduating in 2009, Michael has been a part of a variety of Fringe plays and musicals such as the 2011 Offie nominated 'Godspell' at the Rose and Crown Theatre with All Star Productions, toured most of Italy with 'Robin Vs Sheriff' which had a small run in Rome's  Sala Umberto Theatre and played Jack in Sondheim's 'Into the Woods' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

    Michael has also been cast a few feature including a 'The 12' with Seven Scope Productions which is available on Amazon prime, a Hindi version of 'The Girl on the Train' as well some commercials for SAGA, Natwest and Eko Gas. 

   In 2013, Michael went to Russia and Italy where he put on some small theatrical productions with music, to help students develop their English language and drama skills. Since then he has really enjoyed the creative side of putting on plays and has written his own full length play 'The Meeting', which was on at the White Bear and 'The Bargain' which performed at the Rose and Crown, Walthamstow. 

   As well as writing scripts, he's also a composer and has written music for film and stage shows and in 2022 has started doing stand up comedy when he's not involved in a show. Most recently he was Grandpa and doing a lot of puppeteering in 'Home In Time For Christmas' at the Oxford playhouse and Baloo in an actor/musician production of 'The Jungle Book' at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst Gardens.
